The pencils are in good shape with only slight usage scratches. They all work.

The top pencil is a Wahl-Eversharp Ringtop. It reads

Whal-EversharpGold Filled
Made in USA

The bottom pencil has ingraved on the body the following

Pat. No. 2,790,420 MADE IN U.S.A.
It has a finished top that consists of what looks like a hex head nut with a cylindrical cap.
It rotates but doesn't seem to loosen anything. I can feel and hear an internal small object inside the body of the pencil barrel.
