The second pencil down is a Wahl-Eversharp Ringtop.It reads

Whal-EversharpGold Filled
Made in USA

> The third one down has ingraved on the body the following

Pat. No. 2,790,420 MADE IN U.S.A.

It has a finished top that consists ofwhat looks like a hex head nut with a cylindrical cap. It rotates but doesn't seemto loosen anything. I can feel and hear an internal small object inside the body ofthe pencil barrel.
